The private sector continues to demonstrate rapid growth, making a significant contribution to strengthening the economic potential of the country and preparing for the glorious 35 th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan.

One of the latest successes of the domestic food industry was the launch of a unique product – freeze-dried camel milk under the Medat brand. The project is being implemented by Polat Kanayev, a member of the Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

The production is based on the territory of a camel breeding farm in the «Ahal» dayhan association of the Gokdepe etrap of the Ahal velayat. The main feature of the company is year-round grazing of camels, which allows for the production of environmentally friendly raw materials.

Freeze-drying consists of two main stages: shock freezing of milk at temperatures from –40°C to –80°C and removal of moisture under vacuum by direct evaporation of ice. This allows us to preserve up to 95% of the beneficial properties and natural taste of the product.

In terms of its quality, freeze-dried milk is practically indistinguishable from fresh milk, surpassing traditional types of dry milk in terms of the level of preservation of vitamins and microelements. The products are available in convenient consumer packaging weighing 200 and 400 grams.

Camel milk from the Medat brand is a valuable natural superfood, rich in lactoferrin, immunoglobulins, vitamins B, C, D, as well as iron, potassium and calcium. The product effectively supports the immune system, fights viruses and bacteria, is easily absorbed by the body, and has a beneficial effect on intestinal microflora.

Freeze-dried powder is easily reconstituted when diluted in warm water and finds wide application in cooking. It can be used as a substitute for dry cream in coffee and tea, added to smoothies and cocktails, used when cooking oatmeal, rice or buckwheat porridge, in recipes for pancakes, fritters, muffins and homemade bread, and also as a thickener for cream soups and a base for sauces.

In addition to the innovative freeze-dried product, the farm successfully produces traditional camel milk products – chal and agaran – under the Çöl gämisi brand. A unique breed of one-humped camel, the Arvana, which is the result of centuries of traditional breeding by Turkmen livestock breeders, serves as a reliable raw material base for production.
