A grandiose musical fountain built in the city of New Tashkent, Uzbekistan, has set world records in two categories and has been entered into the Guinness World Records. The certificates confirming the new records were solemnly presented by official Guinness World Records adjudicator Maggie Law.

The fountain set its first record in the category for the "Tallest Music Fountain in an Open Area." The height of its water jets reaches 232.69 meters. Consequently, it surpassed the previous world record of 204.7 meters by approximately 28 meters.

The facility's second achievement was recorded in image projection onto a circular water screen. The area of the water screen is 2,617.23 square meters, which significantly exceeds the previous record of 2,400 square meters.

This major hydraulic engineering complex constructed in New Tashkent is expected to become one of the capital's prominent tourism hubs. Furthermore, it is anticipated to serve as an attractive recreation center for both local residents and foreign tourists.

The new records have also contributed to the international recognition of Uzbekistan's major urban development projects.
