PPI for final demand moves up 0.4% in August; goods advance 1.1%, services rise 0.1%

The Producer Price Index for final demand moved up 0.4 percent in August. Prices for final demand goods advanced 1.1 percent, and the index for final demand services increased 0.1 percent. Prices for final demand rose 5.4 percent for the 12 months ended in August.
