‘Vampirina: Teenage Vampire’ Trailer Reveals a Halloween Curse & ‘Camp Rock 3’ Stars Joining Season 2

From Camp Rock to Wilson Hall Academy of the Arts! Vampirina: Teenage Vampire is returning next month for season 2, and a new trailer includes some familiar faces from the Disney family: Hudson Stone and Ava Jean from Camp Rock 3 .
Billboard Family is exclusively premiering the season 2 trailer below — ahead of the musical series’ Oct. 6 return to Disney Channel and streaming next day on Disney+ — and Kenzi Richardson is back as Vee, a tween vampire who attends a performing arts boarding school. She’s joined by Jean (Madison from Camp Rock 3 ) and Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie from Full House and Fuller House ) in recurring roles, as well as Stone (Desi from Camp Rock 3 and a Hollywood Records artist) as a guest star.
The main plot teased in the season 2 trailer is about Vee and her forbidden crush Elijah (Shaun Dixon), who comes from the vampire-hunting Van Helsing family. A haunting voice reveals that if Vee and Elijah don’t stay apart, “The world shall end on Halloween.”
We also hear first listens of new music for season 2, which will include original songs written by Jordin Sparks and Christina Perri.

Before the live-action spin-off premiered last year, the Disney Jr. animated Vampirina series — which itself was based on the Vampirina Ballerina children’s books written by Anne Marie Pace — debuted in 2017 and ran for three seasons and 75 episodes.
Dan Cross and David Hoge ( Julie and the Phantoms ) are showrunners and executive producers of Vampirina: Teenage Vampire , joined by High School Musical: The Musical: The Series creator Tim Federle, Bronwyn North-Reist and Meg Deloatch as exec producers.
The Vampirina: Teenage Vampire season 2 premiere episode airs Oct. 6 on Disney Channel, followed by the full season arriving on Disney+ the next day (Oct. 7).
