A ceremonial event was held in the Charjev etrap of Lebap velayat to mark the start of the new wheat sowing season. A formal blessing (ak pata) for the sowing was given on a 24-hectare plot belonging to Serdar Rayimov, a tenant farmer of the "Vatan" daikhan association. The event was attended by leaders of the regional and etrap khakimliks, elders, agricultural specialists, and cultural figures. This was reported by the website Lebap.biz .
