Aria Vega Signs Deal With Warner Music Latina: ‘She’s That Magical Moment Right Now’

The agreement is in partnership with the Colombian artist's management team, Lionfish Entertainment.
Aria Vega signed a record deal with Warner Music Latina, Billboard can exclusively announce Tuesday (Sept. 22).
The new agreement — in partnership with Vega’s management team at Lionfish Entertainment, led by Rebeca León — comes on the heels of the rising Colombian artist receiving a nomination for best new artist at the 2026 Latin Grammys, and earning her first Billboard No. 1 on both Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts with “Chévere (premium_remix)” in collaboration with Ryan Castro.
“Every once in a while, an artist reaches that transformative moment where she discovers exactly who she is and Aria is in that magical moment right now,” said Roberto Andrade Dirak , managing director at Warner Music Latina, in a press statement. “What she has built from Barranquilla goes far beyond music; it’s a culture, a point of view, and a movement. The audience connection is real, the records are moving, and our mission is to scale her vision onto the global stage.”
León added: “From the very first time I heard Aria sing, I knew we were witnessing something rare. She writes and performs with an identity that can’t be taught, and that’s what’s connecting with audiences everywhere. It is such a privilege to get to introduce this super powerful woman to the world on her own terms.”
Influenced by artists such as Shakira, Carlos Vives, Joe Arroyo and Totó la Momposina, Vega, 29, (whose real name is Mariana Padilla Perez Campo Vega) has become a household name with her Caribbean Coast rhythms powered by her rich and airy, almost raspy, mezzo-soprano voice. Her free-spirited energy and refreshing authenticity have easily connected with fans on social media, where she ultimately created the vivid “Costeñita Core” movement.

The right things find you when you’re ready for them, and this feels like the right moment, with the right team and the right partners, to turn everything I’ve ever dreamed of into a reality,” noted Vega, who’s currently making the rounds with her single “Compa Coleto (uy_como).”
Earlier this year, Vega was named Billboard’s Latin Up & Comer for July and “Chévere” topped Billboard’s Best Latin Songs of 2026 (so far) list. Vega is also confirmed for the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Week , returning to the Faena Forum in Miami Beach from Oct. 19 to 22.
