The DIRECTV MyKids Genre Pack brings more than 10 family-friendly live TV channels focused on entertainment and learning into one package, along with a Disney+ subscription add-on at no extra cost. DIRECTV positions the package as a great value in the increasingly crowded kids’ entertainment market, providing more for families than competing offerings.
With the MyKids Genre Pack , kids and teens can watch at home or on the go using a tablet or smartphone, with unlimited simultaneous streams on compatible devices while connected to home Wi-Fi and up to three streams using cellular data. As one of five Genre Packs available from DIRECTV, MyKids can be added to a new or existing plan at any time, giving families the flexibility to adjust their TV lineup as their needs change.
DIRECTV offers a five-day free trial for the MyKids Genre Pack , giving families an opportunity to explore the package before paying for it. After the trial, the service automatically renews monthly at its regular rate, currently $20.99 per month, until you cancel, and there is no annual contract.

DIRECTV also includes a Disney+ subscription with the pack, which provides access to TV shows and movies across Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars , National Geographic and Disney Junior.
Additionally, customers have the option to include the DIRECTV MyCinema Mini Pack as an add-on to MyKids at $10.99 per month. The movie-focused package includes channels such as Shudder, Family Movie Classics, Great American Family, GRIT, INSP, LMN, ShortsTV, Sony Movies HD, Smithsonian and TCM, giving families the option to expand their entertainment lineup beyond the MyKids channels.
The MyKids Genre Pack with Disney+ costs $20.99 per month plus tax after the initial free trial. There is no annual contract required. DIRECTV also highlights unlimited in-home streams as part of the package, giving households flexibility when multiple people want to watch programming on different TVs.
All DIRECTV customers also receive access to MyFree DIRECTV channels. The free channels provide additional viewing options alongside paid DIRECTV packages such as the MyKids Genre Pack.
