The construction of one of Central Asia's tallest buildings is planned in Tajikistan's capital, Dushanbe. The new structure, named the "Dushanbe Tower," will reach a height of 340 meters and comprise 77 floors.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the new architectural complex took place in the capital's Shohmansur district. The event was attended by Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
The project goes beyond just a tall tower, envisioning a large multi-use complex consisting of 52 buildings. These will include five high-rise towers, as well as one of the region's largest shopping and entertainment centers.
The complex is set to feature 42 residential buildings containing 6,160 apartments, a secondary school for 1,200 students, and a 500-seat kindergarten.
Spanning a total area of 29 hectares, the complex will create a modern urban space combining essential conditions for living, business, recreation, and various services.
Companies from Russia, Uzbekistan, and the United Arab Emirates are expected to participate in implementing the project.
Once completed, the "Dushanbe Tower" will not only transform the architectural landscape of Tajikistan's capital but also stand out as one of the largest urban development projects in Central Asia.
