The first online B2B meeting on agricultural and food supplies was held between Turkmen importers and business representatives from Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. The talks focused on potential supplies of grain products, vegetable oils, flour, sugar, cereals and confectionery products to Turkmenistan.

As part of the online business mission, representatives of Turkmenistan's agro-industrial sector and distributors held direct negotiations with major producers from Krasnodar Krai. The virtual negotiation platform was organized by the Kuban Export Support Center with the participation of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan.
The main topic of the meetings was the supply of various types of food and agricultural products to Turkmenistan. Specifically, opportunities for cooperation regarding grain crops, vegetable oils, flour, sugar, groats, and confectionery products were discussed.
The online format allowed entrepreneurs from the two countries to promptly present their products and services, agree on preliminary supply terms, and exchange direct contact information. As a result, time and transportation costs usually required for negotiations were reduced.
According to the organizers, Turkmenistan is viewed as one of the promising directions for expanding interregional foreign trade cooperation.
The business contacts exchanged during the talks are currently being studied by relevant specialists. Expert structures also plan to provide comprehensive support ranging from legal analysis of contracts to be concluded to the logistical routing of cargo.
