New 5,000-seat campus Pedagogical Institute opens in Turkmenabat

A new 5,000-seat campus of the Seýitnazar Seýdi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute has opened in Turkmenabat, significantly expanding the city’s facilities for training future teachers. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the opening ceremony on the Day of Knowledge and Students. The new complex was built by a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The campus covers nearly 26 hectares and includes academic buildings, an assembly hall, a library, a 1,000-seat canteen , sports facilities and six student dormitories accommodating 2,000 students .
