Following the trading results of the past week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, a total of 8 transactions were registered. The total value of contracts concluded with foreign partners exceeded 7 million 274 thousand US dollars, TDH reports.
Representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Afghanistan took part in the trading operations. During the auctions, various products of Turkmenistan were sold to foreign buyers, including cottonseed oil, wheat flour, bedding sets, cotton fabric, cotton fiber, and raw silk.
Transactions were also concluded at the exchange auctions to meet the needs of the domestic market. Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan purchased cotton yarn worth over 8 million 212 thousand manats.
Exchange trading serves as an important platform for promoting domestic producers' goods to domestic and foreign markets, as well as for developing national trade turnover.
